According to a representative of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, Kaur could face fines of 75% of her match fee — 50% for breaking the stumps and 25% for her criticism of the umpires.

After India's women's cricket team drew the third game of a one-day series against Bangladesh, Harmanpreet Kaur made an unusual attack on the referees.

Kaur was dissatisfied with the 1-1 series result after the tie in Dhaka.

After the final game of the series finished in a stalemate on Saturday, Kaur remarked in the post-match presentation, "The type of umpiring that was happening there, we were very surprised."

"We'll have to make sure we can deal with this kind of umpiring whenever we come to Bangladesh the next time, and accordingly, we'll have to prepare ourselves," she continued.

According to local media, Kaur yelled "bring the umpires too" during a photo opportunity for both teams, seemingly implying that they were a part of the Bangladeshi team.
